January 19, 2010:
I had an excellent winter break in Texas and am now back in Madison for my second semester of graduate school. I have moved much closer to having an advisor as well. It's better to not be at such loose ends anymore. This semester I'm taking Radiobiology, Health Physics, and Radiotherapy in addition to a seminar. My research has narrowed in radiotherapy somewhat as an investigation of factors beyond traditional dose accurary considerations, which is already more than adequate given the state of the biological understanding of cancer. Therefore, I might be working with something causing a bit more uncertainty such as patient lung motion. I'm interested in finding breathing motion models and studying their variation between different individuals.

The visitor stats have been updated reflecting a string of Caribbean countries which have been added to the list. Vanihok is also ongoing and finally reaching more people on Facebook. Friday updates are still standard while Monday or Tuesday updates happen only occasionally. My NBA predictions have seen better days (up to nearly 70% at one point in December) but have since fallen slightly. In fact, I spent New Years Eve at a Rockets game versus Dallas in Houston, which was yet another incorrent prediction. Though I was satisfied with the Rocket's victory nevertheless.
